Pikeville College - Student Financial Services

Institutional Scholarships

Students who wish to be considered for an institutional scholarship must apply for both admission and financial aid and be accepted as a full-time student. Students must meet scholarship criteria established by the Pikeville College Admission, Retention and Scholarship Committee. This criteria consists of class rank and grade-point average (GPA), National ACT/SAT scores and may include other criteria, as the Committee deems necessary.

Pikeville College institutional scholarships are renewable for no more than three additional years provided the student remains a full-time student and maintains a specific academic average as stated in his/her scholarship agreement.

If a student’s financial aid package exceeds the student’s total expenses, institutional scholarships may be reduced or canceled to prevent an over-award.

Students applying after the scholarship deadline will be considered for scholarships as available and on a first-come, first-served basis.

All scholarships are awarded on a limited and competitive basis.
