Tobacco products are not permitted in the building. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or the use of illegal drugs is not permitted on library property. Security will be called if staff suspects, or anyone reports, such use.
Any behavior that disrupts or hinders use of the library is prohibited on library property. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive noise, inappropriate language or behavior, and verbal or physical harassment of other patrons or library staff.
Bicycles, scooters, roller skates, roller blades and skateboards are not permitted in the building. These types of items should be left outside in such a way that they do not block an exit.
Circulating surveys, petitions, distributing leaflets and other similar activities are not permitted in the library unless authorized by the libary and/or College administration.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children (under 16 years) in the library.
Library users will be asked to present briefcases and book bags for inspection if the detection alarm is activated when they exit the building.
The violation of federal or state laws or local ordinances will not be permitted in the library. Theft, vandalism and mutilation of library or personal property are criminal offenses and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
All students are encouraged to report violations to library staff.
