Foundation Relations

The Foundation Relations Program at Pikeville College develops mutually beneficial partnerships with private foundations in Appalachia and across the nation to address areas of shared concern, while meeting the programmatic, capital, endowment, scholarship needs of Pikeville College.

Gifts and grants from private foundations have helped Pikeville College with projects varying from campus construction to supplying all Pikeville College faculty with state-of-the-art computer systems. Foundations have also made it financially feasible for many students to attend Pikeville College. A significant number of these students are the first in their families to take advantage of the opportunities that higher education provides. Understanding the long-term value of scholarship support, some foundations choose to make annual gifts designated for this purpose.
