Pikeville College - Giving to Pikeville

Annual Giving

Annual Giving is a very important part of the gift income at Pikeville College. These are unrestricted gifts which are used to help meet the operational budget needs. Because they help support the operational budget, they also help to keep tuition and fees lower than would otherwise be necessary. In fact, tuition only covers a portion of the students educational cost. The remainder must come from people like you who care.

The term “Annual Giving” refers to the fact that these gifts are needed each year. Each year these gifts are top priority because they relate to the ongoing operation of the College. Without them, basic services are impaired and the remedy is to either cut services or increase cost to the students, neither of which is desirable.

Your gift will be used where its needed the most:

  • Student Scholarships
  • Academic Programs
  • Library Acquisitions
  • Special Programs
  • Physical Plant Needs (Renovations)
  • New Equipment
  • Athletics

The largest use of gifts from Annual Giving is for student scholarships.
