Personal
Gilliam is a Kentucky native, hailing from Paintsville. She worked in purchasing for a manufacturer and as advertising director for a small retail clothing chain before coming to Pikeville College in 1977. You can find her leading the "Praise Team" at the Early Encounter service each Sunday at Pikeville United Methodist Church. She has two children, Amy and Jacob Stumbo, and resides in Pikeville with her husband Steve.

Personal
Mrs. Maynard is a native of Prestonsburg, Ky. She began teaching at Mayo State Vocational-Technical School in Paintsville, Ky., before coming to Pikeville College in 1979. In addition to her teaching duties, she was also PC’s director of career services from 1993-2006. She is married to Darrell Maynard, president of SouthEast Telephone. The couple has three children, Ryan, Ricki and Randy. She enjoys her childrens’ sports, traveling, especially to beach locations, walking, camping and outdoor activities.

Personal
Dr. Mitchell is a Kentucky resident but has lived in 37 of the United States and five foreign countries. He has spent a total of 25 years as a learning facilitator and administrator in higher education. Prior to his current career, he spent 23 years in the U.S. Army, serving in numerous leadership assignments throughout the world. His tenure in the U.S. Army includes of two years in combat assignments. Dr. Mitchell is a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Noncommissioned Officers Association, the Sergeants Majors Association and Kiwanis International.

Personal
Lois is a native of Pikeville, Ky., but grew up in nearby Prestonsburg. After graduating from Pikeville College in 2004, she spent three years in North Carolina, where she completed her masters degree and then worked as an auditor for Reznick Group in Charlotte, NC. She returned home in the summer of 2007 to begin teaching accounting at her alma mater. Her interests include fashion, interior design and muscle cars. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, baking, swimming and spending time with friends, family and her American Bulldog, Delilah.
