Ask your employer to pay the fee

Some of our classes may enhance your job performance. Ask your employer to pay the fee. Share this schedule. When talking to your employer, stress the skills you will learn, convenience to Pikeville and low price.

Parking

If taking a class at Pikeville College please park on Hambley Boulevard or use the new parking garage on Hambley Boulevard. Then take the Record Memorial elevator up to the main campus.

Inclement weather policy

Normally, regardless of bad weather or other problems, Community Education classes will be held. The only exception to this is on days when Pikeville College is closed for inclement weather or public disasters. To be sure about your class, call your instructor.

Instructors should call Student Services at (606) 218-5224.

Dance Program students should call the Dance Studio at (606) 218-5751.

Registration

If possible, please pre-register for all classes. Pre-registration is required for some classes.

Register by mail or in person, as described below. Registration forms are available from the Community Education brochure, or at the first class. You may pay by cash, check or money order. Make checks payable to Pikeville College. Registration is not complete until tuition is paid.

Two ways to register:

  1. In Person: Complete and print the registration form below and pay by cash or check at the Pikeville College business office located on the ground floor of the Administration Building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  2. By Mail: Complete and print the registration form below and mail with credit card information, check or money order to the Pikeville College Business Office, 147 Sycamore Street, Pikeville, Kentucky 41501. Mail registration ends five days before the first class meeting.

Cancellations

The College cancels classes as needed. If a class is cancelled, registered students will be notified and paid tuition refunded.

Late Enrollment

If you join a class after the first two meetings, tuition is prorated. You do not pay for missed classes. Students pay the full fee on the first and second meeting.
