General Information
For questions about a class, please call or e-mail the instructor.
Ask your employer to pay the fee
Some of our classes may enhance your job performance. Ask your employer to pay the fee. Share this schedule. When talking to your employer, stress the skills you will learn, convenience to Pikeville and low price.
Parking
If taking a class at Pikeville College please park on Hambley Boulevard or use the new parking garage on Hambley Boulevard. Then take the Record Memorial elevator up to the main campus.
Inclement weather policy
Normally, regardless of bad weather or other problems, Community Education classes will be held. The only exception to this is on days when Pikeville College is closed for inclement weather or public disasters. To be sure about your class, call your instructor.
Instructors should call Student Services at (606) 218-5224.
Dance Program students should call the Dance Studio at (606) 218-5751.
Registration
If possible, please pre-register for all classes. Pre-registration is required for some classes.
Register by mail or in person, as described below. Registration forms are available from the Community Education brochure, or at the first class. You may pay by cash, check or money order. Make checks payable to Pikeville College. Registration is not complete until tuition is paid.
Two ways to register:
Cancellations
The College cancels classes as needed. If a class is cancelled, registered students will be notified and paid tuition refunded.
Late Enrollment
If you join a class after the first two meetings, tuition is prorated. You do not pay for missed classes. Students pay the full fee on the first and second meeting.
