Lady Bears fall at Wise - November 11, 2009
WISE, Va. – Poor shooting and foul difficulties were the difference on Wednesday night as the Lady Cavs of U.Va.-Wise handed Pikeville an 87-74 loss at Greear Gymnasium.
Pikeville hit only 34.2 percent from the floor on Wednesday. That, combined with being whistled for 26 personal fouls, led to the loss for the Lady Bears. Click here to read more
Hinton's 41 leads Lady Bears past Alice Lloyd - November 9, 2009
PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Junior Natiera Hinton poured in a career high 41 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Pikeville College to an 81-77 win over Alice Lloyd College on Monday night.
It wasn’t as easy as may have been expected. In the second half the Lady Eagles led by 12 points three different times, as late as 67-55 after a layup by junior Bree Frazier with 7:34 left. The edge was still in double digits as late as the 5:09 mark when junior Ashley Mynster hit a three-point shot. Click here to read more
Lady Bears open season with road win - November 5, 2009
BRISTOL, Va. – The Pikeville College Lady Bears got the 2009-10 season off to a flying start thanks to a 71-54 win over Virginia-Intermont College Wednesday night.

Bears, Lady Bears receive votes in Top 25 - October 27, 2009
PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The NAIA released its preseason basketball polls this week and Pikeville College is on the national radar in both the women’s and men’s rankings.
