Expenses
Full-time tuition for the 2009-2010 academic year (two semesters) is $14,535 ($605/credit hour). Additional costs for nursing students include standardized testing, books, uniforms, liability insurance, CPR certification, health examination, TB skin test, immunizations, skills laboratory kits, Courtnet checks, drug screening, RN licensure and NCLEX applications. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to meet all course-related requirements. A detailed sheet of costs is listed below.

Financial Aid
Pikeville College is an independent institution of higher education that seeks to provide excellent, individualized instruction at a modest expense. The College’s financial aid program strives to provide assistance to students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend college. A combination of grants, loans and work-study can be available to students who follow the required financial aid guidelines and demonstrate a financial need. Students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance also are eligible for competitive academic scholarships. Applicants are encouraged to seek financial counseling early from the Office of Student Financial Services.
